Why this distance
The benefits.
Run on your schedule
Choose your own day, time and route inside the submission window — no travel, no early bus.
Anywhere in the world
Overseas, outstation or on a treadmill-free weekend at home, you are still part of the field.
The same finisher piece
Virtual finishers receive the same medal and e-certificate as the on-ground distances.
How to do it
Your guide to the start line.
- 01
Register your distance
Pick 21.1KM or 42.2KM when entries open and note your submission window.
- 02
Pick a safe route
Well-lit, low-traffic loops let you stash water and stop safely if something goes wrong.
- 03
Record one continuous activity
Use a GPS watch or app. Start it before your first step and stop it after your last.
- 04
Submit your proof
Upload the activity screenshot or link — showing distance, moving time, pace and date — before the deadline.
Before you enter
Warnings & safety.
- Incomplete, edited or paused-and-restarted GPS records may be rejected during verification.
- You run unsupported: no marshals, no water stations, no medical team. Plan hydration and tell someone your route.
- Obey traffic rules — you are on public roads and are responsible for your own safety.
- Submissions received after the deadline cannot be counted. Submission window and fees are TBC.
