Why this distance
The benefits.
The flagship distance
A double marathon: the hardest, most respected finish on the NAX Virtual Marathon 2027 start list.
Ultra-specific recognition
Verified ultra finishers are listed separately in the official results and receive the ultra finisher piece.
A 24-hour clock
The race window runs 24 hours a day, so night sections and early starts are entirely your call.
How to do it
Your guide to the start line.
- 01
Come in with marathon experience
This distance assumes you have already finished at least one marathon and can train 60KM+ weeks comfortably.
- 02
Train back-to-back long runs
Ultra fitness comes from consecutive long days — for example 30KM on Saturday followed by 20KM on Sunday.
- 03
Practise walking breaks
Structured run-walk intervals protect your legs and stomach far better than trying to run every step.
- 04
Plan aid and crew
Use a repeated loop with a fixed aid point, real food, spare shoes and socks, plus lights for night running.
- 05
Log every activity
Run it in one push or accumulate it across several runs inside your batch window, then submit a screenshot of each activity.
Before you enter
Warnings & safety.
- 84.4KM is an ultra distance and carries real medical risk. Do not enter without substantial endurance experience and medical clearance.
- Never run an ultra alone and unannounced. Share your live location and have someone reachable throughout.
- Night running requires a headlamp, reflective gear and well-lit routes.
- Stop the attempt if you experience confusion, dark urine, persistent vomiting or chest pain, and seek medical help.
- Entries are open to participants with a delivery address in Malaysia only. Race kits, race packs and finisher packs are delivered by our appointed logistics partner across West and East Malaysia; shipping fees may apply depending on your location.
- You run unsupported: no marshals, no water stations and no medical crew. Plan your hydration and tell someone your route before you set off.
- Obey all traffic and local regulations. You are responsible for your own safety on public roads.
- Accumulated runs are allowed: submit a clear screenshot of every activity showing date, time and distance. Edited, cropped or manually entered records may be rejected at verification.
- Only runs recorded after your registration is confirmed and inside your batch window count. Submissions close 7 days after your batch ends (23:59 MYT).
